May

May 1-2: New Year 2020

Come help us ring in the New Year with Time Trippers Band. We will have the traditional New Year’s Countdown and Champagne Toast. Please bring a snack to share with everyone.


May 8-9: Mother’s Day Weekend

Mom can enjoy the weekend with a Mother’s Day Craft, and we will serve her a homemade breakfast on Sunday along with a Chinese Auction. Kids Mother’s Day Craft and Egg Hunt for the kids. Advance reservations for breakfast.


May 15-16: Birthday Bingo / Homemade Soup

Everyone will make a pot of their favorite soup to share around a campfire and get to know your new camping friends.


May 22-24: Memorial Day Weekend
First official weekend of summer, and we are going to start it off with Kids Activities, Memorial Day Service, Horseshoe, Quoit & Card Tournaments. Swimming pool opens for the season. Make your own Sundae, Surf & Turf Bingo for charity and other fun activities. Maggie the Clown will be here on Saturday for the kids enjoyment. The Cooper Jones Band on Saturday and Tony & Chrissy Fazio will be here on Sunday for everyone’s entertainment.

May 29-30: Pizza Party
Always a popular event is our pizza party ($). Everyone is invited. Call the office for more details. Must pre-register for the pizza.

June

June 5-6: Trivia Night
Wise Guy Trivia on Saturday evening. You can also enjoy Bingo, Horseshoe & Quoit tournaments, and our sparkling clean pool before that. Ladies’ crafts on Saturday and kids’ games in the afternoon.

June 12-13: Bingo Weekend
Music Bingo, Birthday Bingo and High Stakes Bingo. A fun filled weekend of all kinds of Bingo. Campfire on Saturday evening.

June 19-20: Father’s Day Weekend
Bingo on Friday with some fun events for Dad and kids on Saturday. Kids will have a Father’s Day craft and on Sunday a Special Father’s Day Breakfast & Chinese Auction. Dads eat free when accompanied by another. Advance reservations required.

July

July 3-4-5: 4th of July Celebration

We will start the holiday weekend on Thursday evening with Bingo, on Friday we will have our Annual Bon Fire and Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Ball Field, lots of fun activities and on Saturday we will have Moose and the High Tops for the band.


July 10-11: Glow Night
We will have a “Glow Parade” along with prizes for the most creative glow outfit. Dance the night away with DJ Josh in the dark with all of your glow outfits. Get creative!

July 17-18: Lower Level Band / Birthday Bingo
Birthday Bingo, Ladies’ crafts, kids’ activities, adult swim and enjoy the Lower Level Band on Saturday evening.

July 24-25: Christmas in July
We will have a special visitor for the kids this evening. Santa & Mrs. Santa will be here with gifts for the kids. There will be wagon rides at night to view all of the Decorated Sites. Cash prizes for the Best Decorated site and a Yankee Swap for the adults later that evening.

August

July 31 - August 1: Wales Old Home Day / Fireworks
Old Home Days is back on this year. It is still in the planning, but there will be a Parade and Fireworks on Saturday night. We would like everyone in the Campground (Seasonals) to think about entering something in the parade. It is great fun when you all get together to do this.

August 7-8: Corn Roast
All of our regular activities and a free corn roast on Saturday evening. There will be lots of fun games in the evening.

August 14-15: Birthday Bingo / Hot Diggity Dog
Saturday evening we will have an old fashion “Hot Dog Roast”. We provide all the hot dogs you can eat. Bring your chairs and sit around the fire for some old fashioned fun and music by Ryan Morgan.

August 21-22: Oak Haven’s Annual Golf Tournament
Sign up by August 4th to play in a foursome. Call the office for details. Regular activities for the non-golfers. On Saturday night we will have Wise Guy Trivia.

August 28-29: Halloween at Oak Haven
Kids will go Trick or Treating on Saturday and then they can enter the Costume Judging Contest. Best Decorated Site Contest (cash prizes) and Hay Rides in the evening to view all of the sites, if you dare!

September

September 4-5-6: Labor Day Weekend

Saturday will bring fun with Kid & Adult activities, including Crafts, Horseshoes, Quoits, and Card Tournaments. Cooper Jones Band will be here on Saturday evening. More activities for all on Sunday, including “Maggie the Clown” for kids and adults alike. Wise Guy Trivia will be here for Music Bingo on Sunday night.


September 11-12: All American Cookout
Enjoy this weekend with our Great American Cookout. Oak Haven will provide and cook the hamburgers and hotdogs. Campers, please bring a traditional dish, to feed a family of 8. Advance Reservations for the cookout are required.

September 18-19: Annual Quoits Tournament
If you played Oak Haven’s favorite game (Quoits) this summer and got a double ringer, you’re eligible to play in our Double Ringer Tournament.

September 25-26: Birthday Bingo / R & R Weekend

After a very busy and fun summer and an even busier Labor Day, it’s time for a little rest & relaxation. School has started so take some uninterrupted time for yourselves. Enjoy a nice campfire or a few games on your own.

October

October 2-3: Baked Potato Night
We are planning a fun filled weekend of Fall activities. Everything from scarecrow making to pumpkin painting. We will have a baked potato bar on Saturday evening.

October 9-10-11: Columbus Day Weekend / Birthday Bingo

There will be Bingo, Horseshoes, Quoits, Card Tournaments, Hayrides, Pumpkin Carving (bring your own pumpkin). Display your pumpkin at the pavilion to enter the Best Carved Pumpkin Contest. Our Annual trip to Cook’s Orchard will happen this weekend. Time Trippers will be here on Saturday evening. There will be Bingo, Hay Rides and pumpkin judging on Sunday evening.
